Terms of Use
Visit Amble — the pocket guide to Amble-by-the-Sea · Effective 9 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Visit Amble app for iPhone and Apple Watch. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you have any questions, contact us at andy@andyferriby.com.
Standard Apple EULA
Visit Amble is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also governs your use of the app. You can read the standard EULA at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
The app's content
Business listings, “tonight's specials”, reviews and photos are provided by the businesses and visitors themselves. We work to keep the guide accurate but the harbour changes — opening hours, menus and prices may be out of date, so please check with a business before travelling. The app is a guide, not a safety service: always make your own judgement around the coast, tides and sea.
Subscription terms
- The optional business listing is an auto-renewing annual subscription (£25.99 per year), sold through the App Store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, and it renews each year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
- Any unused part of a term is not refunded on cancellation; refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
Your content
You're responsible for the reviews, photos and listings you submit. Don't post anything unlawful, abusive or misleading, and only submit content for a business you own or are authorised to represent. We may edit or remove content at our discretion. By submitting content you allow us to display it in the app.
Liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
